Meet Our Therapists

Jami Pugh, MA, LCPC, NCC, ATR-BCJami

Hi! I’m Jami Pugh and I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a board certified registered art therapist (ATR-BC). I’m also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

I provide counseling and art therapy for adults in Downtown Chicago. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, relationship stress, school/work stress, life change & transitions, and self-esteem. A more detailed description of my treatment approach can be found on the Our Services page.

My work experience in various settings including community mental health, alternative & public schools, inpatient & outpatient hospitals, residential treatment programs, and private practice has allowed me work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and with diverse needs and challenges. The therapist I am today was shaped by the knowledge and skills I gained through those experiences. The passion and gratitude that I have for my work has been reaffirmed and strengthened through my experiences as well.

For me, being a therapist feels like the intersection of my skills and my passions. I find the work I do as a Counselor and Art Therapist to be incredibly professionally fulfilling and I feel fortunate to work in this field. I’m grateful to be able to walk with my clients as they navigate challenges and move toward a greater sense of wellbeing. More information about how I approach therapy and my work with people can be found on the Our Services page. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or are interested in scheduling an appointment.
