Hi! I’m Jami Pugh and I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a board certified registered art therapist (ATR-BC). I’m also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I provide counseling and art therapy for adults in Downtown Chicago. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, relationship stress, school/work stress, life change & transitions, and self-esteem. A more detailed description of my treatment approach can be found on the Our Services page.
My work experience in various settings including community mental health, alternative & public schools, inpatient & outpatient hospitals, residential treatment programs, and private practice has allowed me work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and with diverse needs and challenges. The therapist I am today was shaped by the knowledge and skills I gained through those experiences. The passion and gratitude that I have for my work has been reaffirmed and strengthened through my experiences as well.
For me, being a therapist feels like the intersection of my skills and my passions. I find the work I do as a Counselor and Art Therapist to be incredibly professionally fulfilling and I feel fortunate to work in this field. I’m grateful to be able to walk with my clients as they navigate challenges and move toward a greater sense of wellbeing. More information about how I approach therapy and the services I offer can be found on the Our Services page.
I offer weekday morning, afternoon, and evening appointments. I do have a few new patient openings at this time and I’m currently accepting new clients.
You can reach me by email at email@example.com if you have any questions, concerns, or want to schedule an appointment. You can see my available appointments and book online if you see an open appointment time.

Hi! I’m Matthew Boltz and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I provide therapy for children, adolescents/teenagers, and adults in Chicago. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, autism, behavioral disorders, depression, executive functioning difficulties, family stress, life change & transitions, school/work stress, stress, and self-esteem.
I have over 8 years of experience working in the field of social work and providing behavioral/mental health services. I began my career working in inpatient and outpatient hospitalization programs and later began working within the education system to provide mental health services as a social worker in elementary, middle, and high schools across the state of Illinois. I have extensive experience working with many subject matters in regard to the education system such as school functioning, special education law, IEPs and 504’s, coordination of care between support staff, and advocacy within the school setting.
I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support treatment goals through skill-building, gaining insights, and clarifying values. I employ a person-centered and strengths-based approach when working with my clients to honor each of their own individual wants and needs during the therapeutic process. I am an affirming and accepting therapist that provides a collaborative, non-judgemental, and supportive therapeutic environment. My goal is to empower each client with the coping strategies and skills necessary to make the desired changes in their own life.
If you have any other questions, would like to schedule a brief phone consultation, or want to schedule your first appointment, please feel free to call or email me. I look forward to talking with you.
I offer weekday evening appointments. Currently, I’m not currently accepting new clients.
