Jami Pugh, MA, LCPC, NCC, ATR-BC

Hi! I’m Jami Pugh and I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a board certified registered art therapist (ATR-BC). I’m also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

I provide counseling and art therapy for adults in Downtown Chicago. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, relationship stress, school/work stress, life change & transitions, and self-esteem. My work experience in various settings including community mental health, alternative & public schools, inpatient & outpatient hospitals, residential treatment programs, and private practice has allowed me work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and with diverse needs and challenges. The therapist I am today was shaped by the knowledge and skills I gained through those experiences. The passion and gratitude that I have for my work has been reaffirmed and strengthened through my experiences as well.

For me, being a therapist feels like the intersection of my skills and my passions. I find the work I do as a Counselor and Art Therapist to be incredibly professionally fulfilling and I feel fortunate to work in this field. I’m grateful to be able to walk with my clients as they navigate challenges and move toward a greater sense of wellbeing.
